After many years of hard work and countless roles as a professional actor, Mark finally  got some much appreciated recognition for his work on the highest level. On February 15th, 2019 Mark received an email from the ABC Studios PR department  informing him that he was being submitted by ABC and Shondaland for an Emmy nomination for his role as Braden Walsh, an autistic killer, on "For The People." The hope is that this will be the first of many such honors to come.

It's been too long time since we've chined in here. Sorry about that. To make up for lost time how about mentioning  that Mark worked with Jane Fonda for a second time. Cool! Netflix finally released Season 4 of Grace & Frankie. Binge watch it and you'll catch Mark doing his best to stay composed opposite the amazing legend. Since last post, Mark has been very busy working and getting screen time on TV. Last week Mark's recurring character, Kurt Vogel, was killed off on "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." in dramatic fashion! Well, it's been a while since Mark's last update. Since the entry below, he had major back surgery June 1st, recuperated for the next few months and then went back to work In mid- September. Since then Mark has booked seven TV shows, all of which are already out or will be out in the coming year. The shows include a recurring role on "Code Black," "CSI:Cyber," "Rush Hour," "Rosewood" and some that can't be announced yet. More to come soon.

It's been a while but Mark has been busy filming shows he can't announce yet. That said, Mark appeared on "Scandal" tonight as Captain of the Washington DC Police Department. He had a nice face to face battle with Kerry Washington. Who won? You'll just have to check it out for yourself. http://abc.com/scandal

The promo pieces and website photos for "Myrna" are done and making their appearance on social media and elsewhere. We are one step closer to completion. Soon the fate of the show will be in the hands of the executives. I'm staying optimistic.

Mark finished principle shooting today on the TV Pilot, "Myrna." Mark plays the fiancée of the lead character's ex. (if that makes sense). It was challenging and yet very satisfying artistically. Let's see if/when it gets picked up. For more info check out Mark's IMDb page.

Mark signs on to help build a new acting program at Biola University, one that will focus on on-camera work and contemporary acting skills as opposed to the classic and traditional acting techniques that most schools embrace. The purpose is to train actors with a practical knowledge, actors who are ready to work now, rather than actors who will struggle due to an impractical, antiquated academic focus.
